The excitement of this movie was less than I expected. The plot and rhythm of the whole movie was not coherent. It will always surprised me, if an American movie is based on a true story. Because that kind of movie was always illogical and always surprised me. But for this one I just saw a lot of chaos on the court. Even the last part.
The different universes and atmospheres created by David Lynch always show a strong level of originality, as if the director was focused on creating something radically unique - a delicate balance of opposites, at the frontier of underground ultra-violence & perversion and heart-warming & simplistic vintage feelings.
